CGN signs nuclear decommissioning & cooperation deal

China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) signed a deal with Sarens Group of Belgium for cooperation on nuclear and renewable energy, and nuclear plant decommissioning. Sarens is a heavy lifting and engineered transport company.
An article in China Business News said the partnership will help Chinese companies enter the decommissioning market, which is expected to be worth $100 billion by 2030 thanks to expected shut downs in Germany, Japan and the U.S.
