 PJM Board names new president, CEO

PJM Interconnection’s Board of Directors has named Andrew Ott — current executive vice president — as president and chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Terry Boston who announced plans to retire on Dec. 31, 2015.

Ott will work closely with Boston and meet with PJM stakeholders including members, state and federal regulators, employees and industry leaders through the transition period.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Science in applied statistics from Villanova University. Additionally, he serves as a board member for PJM Technologies, PJM Environmental Information Services, and is an IEEE Fellow.
