 EDF awards UK nuclear power plant project management contract

EDF Energy awarded a contract to Amec Foster Wheeler to provide project management services to all of its UK nuclear power plants for £15 million ($22.2 million).
The contract is for five years with two option two-year periods and is one of the largest project management contracts within the UK nuclear industry. Amec Foster Wheeler will provide these services to the Dungeness, Sizewell, Hunterston, Torness, Heysham 1 and 2, Hartlepool and Hinkley Point nuclear power plants, along with technical offices in Gliucester and Glasgow.
