I&M plans five solar power projects

Indiana Michigan Power I&M American Electric Power AEP solar power projects

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M), a subsidiary of American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), said it is planning a $38 million project to build five solar power plants totaling 16 MW of capacity.

Three of the plants will be in Michigan and a fourth will be in Indiana. A fifth location has not yet been determined. The four projects that have sites chosen will be built on property owned by I&M near existing and future substations.
