Vestas to supply wind turbines to EDF Renewable Energy

Wind Turbine PEPWR

Vestas Wind Systems A/S has received an order from EDF Renewable Energy (EDF RE) for 150-MW of wind turbine generators. Delivery of the 75 V100-2.0-MW is scheduled for third quarter 2016.

The order represents the final project on the Master Supply Agreement (MSA) announced in September 2013 with orders totaling 1,094 MW. The two companies have initiated a new MSA, defining terms for up to 1-GW of future capacity.

EDF Renewable Energy’s U.S. portfolio spans 19 states with more than 5-GW of developed projects and an installed capacity of 2.2-GW of wind, solar, biogas and biomass projects.
