Peabody Energy names new president, CEO

Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) announced that Glenn Kellow, current president and chief operating officer (COO) has been named president, chief executive officer (CEO), and will join the company’s Board of Directors May 4, 2015. Current chairman and CEO, Gregory Boyce, will continue to serve as executive chairman of the Board.

Prior to joining Peabody, Kellow held multiple leadership position throughout a 28-year career with BHP Billiton.

Peabody Energy is a global, private-sector coal company and a provider of sustainable mining, energy access and clean coal solutions.
