North Carolina solar power project ready for construction

Solar Power Generator PEPWR

Innovative Solar Systems LLC (ISS) has secured the necessary approvals to begin construction on Innovative Solar 46, a 80-MW solar power project in Hope Mills, North Carolina.

Construction will begin sometime this year, after ISS secures a final owner for the project, according to John Green, chief executive officer and ISS spokesman.

Additionally, the company is currently seeking a 15-year purchase power agreement (PPA).
