Eaton aids in hydroelectric station equipment replacement project

Eaton (NYSE: ETN) said it provided services and equipment for an electrical equipment replacement project at a New Hampshire hydroelectric power plant.
Eaton provided engineering, procurement and construction services for the replacement of a generator step-up unit transformer, modified and upgraded high voltage bus and structures, upgraded the protection and control configuration and replaced the low-voltage power distribution equipment at the Amoskeag hydroelectric station for Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH). The project was completed in 2014 and also included power management solutions from Eaton.
The Amoskeag Station is a 17.5-MW that includes three generating units located on the Merrimack River in New Hampshire. It is one of nine hydroelectric power plants owned and operated by PSNH.
