Nuclear Energy Institute releases video on post-Fukushima defense-in-depth measures

The Nuclear Energy Institute has released a video outlining what it dubs the FLEX system for responding to the challenges posed by extreme events like the earthquake, tsunami and subsequent meltdown at Fukushima. The video describes the backup generators, pumps and other measures in place to shore up defense-in-depth at America’s nuclear plants.
