Canadian Solar to supply modules for Ontario solar power project

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ) announced that its subsidiary, Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., has signed a 10 MW AC Module Supply Agreement with Algonquin Power Co., to provide Canadian Solar modules for a solar power project in Ontario.

The utility-scale solar plant is expected to include approximately 42,000 Canadian Solar CS6X high performance modules. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2013, with the project expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2013.
