Vestas wins 59MW wind power contract

Vestas V 112 Wind Turbine

Vestas has landed a 59 MW contract with Eolus Vind for four wind power projects in Sweden, providing wind turbines.

The four projects include:

·         13 MW provided to Ramsns, including seven V100-1.8 MW turbines;

·         14 MW to Skalleberg, consisting of eight V100-1.8 MW and two V90-2.0 MW turbines;

·         14MW to Mungserod, featuring eight V100-1.8MW turbines; and

·         13MW to Alered, including four V112-3.3MW turbines.

Under the agreement, Vestas will provide a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service package for each project, as well as the delivery, installation and commissioning of the facilities.

The four projects are expected to be developed by late 2014.
