Solar photovoltaic project completed in California

First Solar

Spain-based Grupo T-Solar completed a $75 million solar photovoltaic project in El Centro, Calif.

The North American Development Bank (NADB) is providing a $65 million loan for construction of the 20 MW project owned by Sol Orchard Imperial 1 LLC. The Imperial Irrigation District signed a 30-year power purchase agreement for the output from the project.

Yingli supplied the solar panels, STi Norland the single-axis trackers and GPTech will supply the inverters. Grupo T-Solar is a subsidiary of Isolux Infrastructure.
