RES Canada to construct 20 MW of solar power projects in Ontario


Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. will be constructing 20 MW of solar photovoltaic facilities for SunEdison in Ontario. The two 10-MW projects, Newboro I and Newboro IV, are intended to qualify for the province’s feed-in-tariff program.

The two projects will use SunEdison Silvantis 320-watt modules and Unirac fixed-tilt racks. They are scheduled for completion in 2014.

The projects are fourth and fifth projects RES Canada have constructed for SunEdison.
