RES Canada begins construction on solar PV projects in Ontario

Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada) said it will begin construction on two, 10 MW solar photovoltaic projects for SunEdison in Ontario.

RES Canada is the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the Newboro I and Newboro IV projects. The projects are scheduled for completion in 2014 and will use SunEdison’s Silvantis 320 W modules and Unirac fixed-tilt racks.

The addition of the Newboro projects brings RES Canada’s Ontario feed-in-tariff construction portfolio to 70 MW.
