PSEG completes Badger 1 Solar Farm

PSEG Solar Source, a subsidiary of PSEG,  has completed its 19.3 MW Badger 1 Solar Farm located on approximately 172 acres west of Phoenix, Ariz.

Badger 1 Solar will generate enough energy to provide electricity to about 3,560 homes.

Juwi Solar Inc. (JSI) developed and constructed the farm.  Arizona Public Service Company (APS) will purchase the electricity produced by the facility through a 30-year agreement.

The solar farm consists of Canadian Solar panels, a tracking system manufactured by Array Technologies, and inverters manufactured and tested by Phoenix-based Power One.

Under a separate agreement, JSI will also operate and maintain services for the project.
