Patriot Coal to emerge from bankruptcy soon

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri confirmed a Plan of Reorganization for Patriot Coal Corp.

Patriot Coal, a producer and marketer of coal products in the eastern U.S., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2012. The company will exit financing, complete the rights offerings and emerge from Chapter 11 reorganization on December 18.
