Mexico wind energy project is delayed

Vestas Wind systems said a 396 MW wind power project in Mexico has been further delayed.

According to Bloomberg, the Marena Renovables project was delayed due to opposition groups barring access to the site. The delays have affected the value of the project, the article said. Vestas is supplying 132 of the company’s V90-3 wind turbines and a 10-year service and maintenance agreement.
