Gamesa wins 50MW wind farm contract

Green Infra, an independent power, has awarded Gamesa Wind Turbines an order to supply wind turbines for a 50MW wind power project.

Gamesa would set up 25 units of 2MW turbines at Kosegaon, Maharashtra in India.

The company said the project will be completed in two phases. Gamesa will supply, commission, operate and maintain the turbines for 10 years.

Gamesa most recently won contracts for a 46MW wind power project for ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division and two projects, totaling 230MW for Greenko and CLP India.

The contracts are set to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2014.
