Cabot Oil & Gas to provide natural gas to Dominion's liquefaction project

Cabot Oil & Gas (NYSE: COG), an independent natural gas producer based in Texas, has agreed to sell 350,000 MMBtu per day of natural gas from Marcellus Shale to Dominion's (NYSE: D) Cove Point LNG liquefaction project, over a 20-year term.

Cabot signed the agreement with Pacific Summit Energy LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corp.

The project is scheduled to commence 2017 .
