AREVA to invest $26.3mn in nuclear power operational center

AREVA is investing $26.3 million to upgrade operations at its nuclear power operational facility in Lynchburg, Va. AREVA also received a $700,000 package from the state, county and city as part of a partnership program.

AREVA will invest the money in advanced machinery and equipment to enhance research and development capabilities at its Operational Center for Excellence for Nuclear Products and Services in North America in Lynchburg and in AREVA’s Solutions Complex in Campbell County.
