Kevin Bethel named vice president, CFO of NV Energy

NV Energy names Kevin Bethel vice president CFO Jonathan Halkyard

NV Energy (NYSE: NVE) announced Tuesday Kevin Bethel, currently vice president and chief accounting officer for the company, has been named vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Bethel will replace Jonathan Halkyard, who is leaving the company.

According to NV Energy, Halkyard will be leaving to pursue an opportunity outside the utility industry effective Sept. 13. Bethel will become CFO effective Sept. 16.

Bethel was hired by NV Energy in 2007 as controller and chief accounting officer.
