Companies announce completion of 3 MW solar power project

Duke Energy Renewables Integrys Solar Canadian Solar Community Energy Solar Massachusetts Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant

Duke Energy Renewables (NYSE: DUK), Integrys Solar, Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) and Community Energy Solar have completed a 3 MW solar power project in Berkley, Mass. Power from the project is being sold to Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant (TMLP) under a 25-year agreement.

The Berkley East Solar Project is co-owned by Canadian Solar and INDU Solar Holdings, a joint venture between subsidiaries of Duke Energy and Integrys Energy Services. The project was developed by Community Energy Solar and constructed by groSolar using 15,624 modules from Canadian Solar.

TMLP provides service to more than 36,000 electric and internet customers in Taunton, Raynham, Berkley, N. Dighton and sections of Lakeville.
