Trina Solar solar photovoltaic PV modules Copper Mountain Solar 3 Nevada Sempra U.S. Gas & Power AMEC LADWP

Trina Solar Limited will supply more than a million solar photovoltaic (PV) multi-crystalline modules to the 345 MW Copper Mountain Solar 3 Project in Nevada.

Trina Solar will provide 1,133,550 dual-rated, 72-cell PD14 solar modules to the project, which is being built by AMEC and will be owned and operated by Sempra U.S. Gas & Power.

The project will supply electricity to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the city of Burbank. It is expected to be completed in early 2015.
