SMUD general manager & CEO to retire

SMUD general manager and CEO John Di Stasio to retire California

John Di Stasio, general manager and chief executive officer of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), announced his retirement effective in 2014.

Di Stasio first joined SMUD in 1981 and was appointed general manager and CEO in June 2008. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum.

The SMUD Board of Directors is beginning the process of finding a successor.
