Siemens to supply gas turbines, generators to Kansas power project

Siemens Energy to supply gas-fired turbines generators Kansas Municipal Energy Agency KMEA western Kansas Sega Inc Jameson Energy Center SGT-400

Siemens Energy (NYSE: SI) will supply three SGT-400 gas-fired turbines and generators to Kansas Municipal Energy Agency (KMEA) for a power plant project in western Kansas. Sega Inc. will install and build the power project.

The three combustion turbines will add 27 MW of power to the Jameson Energy Center. The plant is expected to be operational in early 2014.
