NADB to help fund solar PV project in Calif.

North American Development Bank NADB Grupo T-Solar Global S.A. Sol Orchard Imperial 1 LLC solar photovoltaic PV project El Centro California Imperial Irrigation District

The North American Development Bank (NADB) and Grupo T-Solar Global S.A. signed a $67.6 million loan with Sol Orchard Imperial 1 LLC to build a 20 MW solar photovoltaic project in El Centro, Calif.

The project will be built on approximately 131 acres of land owned by the Imperial Irrigation District (IID), which will also purchase the output of the plant. Yingli is supplying the solar panels, STi Norland will provide the single-axis trackers, GPTech will supply the inverters, and Isolux USA will be the engineering, procurement and contracting provider.
