Joint investors purchase Texas wind project

Starwood Energy Group Global Mesa Power Group Stephens Ranch Wind Project Texas Wind Tex Energy

An investment affiliate of Starwood Energy Group Global LLC and Mesa Power Group purchased the 377 MW Stephens Ranch Wind Project in Texas from joint developers Wind Tex Energy and Mesa Power. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The first 200 MW phase of the project is expected to begin construction in September and begin operations by August 2014. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the exclusive financial advisor to Mesa Power.
