JinkoSolar (NYSE: JKS) announced Monday it has supplied 2.3 MW of solar modules for a rooftop system constructed by Sentinel Solar. The project, which is the largest roof-top solar power project in Canada, was commissioned under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff plan.

The project uses 9,294 JinkoSolar modules and a customized racking solution designed and manufactured by Sentinel Solar. The system is expected to offset around 11,200 tons of CO2 annually and assist Ontario in achieving its goal to phase out coal-fired power by 2014, according to JinkoSolar.
