Duke Energy names Young as executive VP & CFO

Duke Energy names Steven Young executive vice president chief financial officer CFO Lynn Good

Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) named Steve Young as executive vice president and chief financial officer effective immediately. He is replacing Lynn Good, who was appointed the company’s president and chief executive officer on July 1.

Young served as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer since 2005. He first started working at Duke in 1980 and held numerous positions with the company. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program.
