Bechtel completes construction on California solar power project

Bechtel completed construction on Catalina Solar Photovoltaic power plant PV California EDF Renewable Energy San Diego Gas & Electric

Bechtel completed construction on the 110 MW Catalina Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Generating Facility in California.

The plant includes a 7.2-mile transmission line that connects the facility to a substation. The plant is owned by EDF Renewable Energy, which will also provide operations and maintenance services on the project.

San Diego Gas & Electric will buy the output under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
