Three solar PV projects planned for NM

First Solar Public Service Company of New Mexico PNM solar photovoltaic PV projects

First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR) and Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) will build three solar power plants totaling 23 MW of capacity in New Mexico.

First Solar will provide engineering, procurement and construction services using its thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules. Construction is expected to be completed in 2014 contingent on approval from state regulators.

First Solar and PNM teamed on five other solar projects completed in 2011 and have an additional 21.5 MW of solar PV set for completion this year.
