EnerNOC continues energy efficiency project with university

EnerNOC Inc. (Nasdaq: ENOC) expanded its deployment of energy efficiency technology at California State University San Marcos.

The university will use the company’s EfficiencySMART Insight software to increase savings across the entire campus. San Diego Gas & Electric funded the project in part through the UC/CSU/IOU Partnership Program, which offers incentives to universities that combine building commissioning with real-time energy monitoring.

Since 2008, EnerNOC has helped CSMSM achieve 10 percent savings from field-based commissioning and data analytics, as well as an additional 8 percent savings from persistent monitoring and ongoing automated fault detection.
