Alstom & United Conveyor to jointly offer emissions control systems

Alstom has teamed with United Conveyor Corp. (UCC) to jointly provide emission control systems for coal-fired power plants in North America and Europe. The systems would combine dry sorbent injection technology with air quality control system expertise.

The joint offering will be available to any North American or European power generator that requires the use of DSI to curb SO2, SO3 and HCl, along with electrostatic precipitators, fabric filters, selective catalytic reduction, wet or dry scrubbers and other AQCS.
