Walgreens install 200 additional solar power projects SoCore Energy SolarCity Colorado California Connecticut Delaware Massachusetts New Jersey New York

Walgreens (NYSE, Nasdaq: WAG) plans to build more than 200 new solar installations at Walgreens drugstores in six states.

Along with solar developer SoCore Energy, Walgreens will install the solar projects at stores in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York. These latest projects will bring the total solar installations at stores to more than 350.

Walgreens will host the arrays and SoCore will own, operate and maintain them. Walgreens also partnered with SolarCity to install solar projects at 22 stores in Colorado.
