Technology to help imporve solar PV cell performance

n-PASHA technology Nexolon America LLC solar photovoltaic PV production facility San Antonio Texas

The n-PASHA Alliance of RENA GmbH, ECN and Tempress Systems Inc., was picked by Nexolon America LLC to provide its technology and equipment to Nexolon’s solar photovoltaic (PV) cell production facility in San Antonio, Texas.

The contract is for the 100 MW phase of a 200 MW turnkey project for Nexolon. The n-PASHA technology is able to produce n-type high-efficiency cells enabling the production of bi-facial modules. The technology generates electricity from light coming through the front and rear of the modules, generating up to 20 percent more power in solar farms. The cells also do not suffer from light induced degradation.
