Siemens acquires UK-based software company

Siemens acquires Preactor United Kingdom planning and developing software

Siemens (NYSE: SI) acquired United Kingdom-based software developer Preactor to help add new components to the Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management portfolio. Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.

Preactor has been developing planning and scheduling software solutions for more than 20 years. Once the deal is completed, it will be assigned to the Siemens Industry Automation Division.
