Largest solar power project in Vermont in the works

St. Albans Solar Partners LLC RGS Energy Real Goods Solar Inc. Vermont

St. Albans Solar Partners LLC picked RGS Energy, a division of Real Goods Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: RSOL), to develop a 2.2 MW solar energy farm in Vermont, the largest solar project in the state.

RGS Energy will design, install, monitor and maintain the project. Construction is expected to begin in July and scheduled for completion in November.

All of the output will be sold through a feed-in tariff under the Standard Offer Program of Vermont’s Sustainably Priced Energy Development (SPEED) Program.
