Gas turbine contract extended in Libya

Florida-based APR Energy said it has expanded a 250 MW gas turbine contract in Libya by an additional 200 MW.

The turnkey power solution will help cover an anticipated increase in power demand during the summer, as well as provide interim power as the country rebuilds its infrastructure.

APR’s new contracts in 2013 total 553 MW, compared to 569 MW of contracts in all of 2012.
