Ameresco begins energy efficiency work in Montana county

Ameresco Inc. (NYSE: AMRC) will install more than $1.6 million in energy efficiency improvements at 28 county-owned buildings in Lewis and Clark County, Mont.

The project is expected to save the county an estimated $77,000 annually and is expected to be completed in fall of 2013.

Ameresco previously performed a full audit to identify the areas where energy savings could be implemented, as well as create a plan for the design and implementation of the project. Work includes lighting upgrades, boiler system upgrades, water conservation measures and building envelope improvements.
