Westinghouse wins contract to replace generator at Argentina's Embalse nuclear plant

Westinghouse Electric Co. announced its subsidiary, PCI Energy Services LLC, has been contracted by Nucleoeléctrica Argentina S.A. to provide engineering, specialty pipe cutting and welding services to support the replacement of the steam generator at the 600 MW Embalse nuclear power plant in Córdoba, Argentina.

The steam generator replacement program is part of a larger refurbishment program designed to extend the life of the plant by an additional 30 years.
