Staples uses solar to power headquarters

SunEdison Staples Massachusetts headquarters solar array

SunEdison installed a solar power array at the global headquarters of office supply company Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) in Framingham, Mass.

The 685 kW installation uses more than 2,440 SunEdison Silvantis solar modules. The project was made possible through power purchase agreements between the companies. SunEdison developed, financed and will operate and maintain the installation.

Staples has used more than 48 million kWh of solar since 2005 from 37 arrays.
