Solectria Renewables to provide inverter for solar power project

Solectria Renewables LLC announced that it will be providing equipment to power a 2.5 MW ground-mount photovoltaic system in Roswell, N.M. Green States Energy, an independent power producer, will be using Solectria’s PVI 95 KW line of central inverters for the project.

Xcel Energy (NYSE: XEL) will purchase the electricity produced from the project. Along with its sister project that was installed in 2010, the projects will provide more than 9 million KWh of electricity per year to the community.

According to Green States Energy CEO, the installation will be one of the largest in New Mexico.
