Enercon Services co founder passes away

Jerry Martin Enercon Services dies

Jerry Martin, co-founder of Enercon Services Inc., died on April 8, the company said in a release.

Martin co-founded the company with Mike Aneshansley in Tulsa, Okla. in 1983. The corporate offices are currently located in Kennesaw, Ga. Martin retired from Enercon in 2007.

Martin helped to launch the environmental division of Enercon in 1989. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and earned his masters in engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

“Jerry Martin was instrumental in establishing a solid foundation for the company and invaluable to the rapid growth of Enercon, not only as a founder but more significantly as the force which led us into the environmental services sector.” Said Enercon President John Richardson. “Mr. Martin expanded out service market to include not only nuclear but the entire energy market, plus all businesses requiring environmental assessments.”
