Earthquake rattles nuclear plant in Iran

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake destroyed hundreds of homes near the Bushehr nuclear plant, Reuters reported. Iranian officials say the plant was undamaged in the tumult.

The earthquake reportedly killed 37 people, injured 850, and devastated two Iranian villages near the nuclear plant. An official from the Russian firm Atomstroyexport, which built the nuclear plant, confirmed that the facility was unaffected in the earthquake.
