Dan River combined cycle natural gas-fired power plant North Carolina Duke Energy opened

Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) opened the 620 MW Dan River Natural Gas Combined Cycle Station in North Carolina April 10. The plant reached commercial operation on Dec. 10.
