MOU signed for deliveries of solar polysilicon equipment

Solar equipment manufacturer GT Advanced Technologies (NASDAQ: GTAT) and Powertec Energy Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for Powertec to purchase polysilicon technology and equipment from GT for two solar power expansion projects in Taiwan. Design work for the projects has begun and Powertec expects to begin ordering the equipment in the second half of 2014.
