GE providing cybersecurity management system


GE (NYSE: GE) announced that its CyberSecurity SEM Security Event Manager is available. It is a cybersecurty management and monitoring system specifically designed to guard substation power system assets from issues or outages that occur as a result of malicious attacks or human error.

The SEM continuously monitors the protection and control system for any configuration changes and cybersecurity issues, alerting operators to any problems and detailing a solution.
