Watts Bar 2 on track and on budget

The Watts Bar unit 2 build is meeting budget targets and on schedule for completion between September and December 2015, the TVA announced last week. The second quarterly update (August to October 2012) shows the project remains within the total estimated cost goal of $4 billion to $4.5 billion.  During the quarter, the project focused on efficiency of construction activities, and maintaining the pace of installing commodities like valves, piping, and cable.
