CB&I contracted as EPC for natural gas conditioning plant

CB&I (NYSE: CBI) was awarded a $550 million contract by Esso Australia Resources Pty Ltd. for work on the Longford Gas Conditioning Plant in Australia. Longford is designed to handle 400 million cubic feet per day of gas from several fields in Bass Strait.

CB&I’s scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of the plant.
