El Paso Electric (NYSE: EE) and Element Power signed a power purchase agreement for the total output from the 50 MW AC Macho Springs Solar Project in New Mexico.
The PPA is subject to approval by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission. The project is expected to begin construction in 2013 and be completed in 2014.
